We got new stuff from Shadow creatures today. Beautiful flowy dresses in many different colors and must-have bodysuits in a luxurious silk/cotton blend.

EYGLO

Eygló M. Lárusdóttir útskrifaðist úr Listaháskóla Íslands árið 2005. Eftir starfsnám hjá Bernhard Willhelm, AsFour og Jeremy Scott stofnaði hún fatamerkið sitt EYGLO árið 2006. Áður en hún opnaði verslunina KIOSK seldi hún hönnun sína í KronKron og Liborius hér í Reykjavík. Nýja línan fyrir veturinn 2010-2011 inniheldur mikið silki chiffon og Glow in the dark efni.

Eygló M. Lárusdóttir graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in the year 2005. After interning with Bernhard Willhelm, AsFour and Jeremy Scott she started her own label in 2006. She had been selling her clothing in stores like KronKron and Liborius before opening her own store KIOSK in summer 2010. The autumn winter 2010-2011 collection holds a lot of silk chiffon and Glow in the dark fabric.

Another grey jersey dress. This one is floor length but with a drawstring to make it shorter. This one is a size medium and fits many different body types.

Baby hats.

These super cute baby hats from Hlín Reykdal are now on special offer in Kiosk at 3500 ikr. She also has more acessories for babies including the worlds most stylish bibs.

New arrivals in Kiosk yesterday, Arna Sigrún brought two new spiky smoking jackets and double layer silk-jersey tops and Eygló brought a glow-in-the-dark jacket.

Shadow Creatures

Shadow Creatures is the brainchild of two shady sisters; Sólveig Ragna Guðmundsdóttir and Gunnhildur Edda Guðmundsdóttir.
Sólveig has a MA from the AA Architect school of Aarhus; graduated in summer 2009
Edda has a BA frome the Icelandic Academy of The Arts.

REY

REY is an icelandic label founded in 2009 by designer Rebekka Jónsdóttir.
Rebekka Jónsdóttir graduated 2008 from Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles, with a major in Fashion Design.
Inspiration for REY’s collection comes in part from nature but a major part from the fabrics and yarns themselves.

OPENING!!

Kiosk opened last thursday on Laugavegur 33, 2nd floor. On the picture above are some of the owners/designers. Top row from left: Ási Már, sisters and designer duo, Edda and Sólveig, María Sigurðardóttir, Sævar Markús, Hlín Reykdal. Sitting down: Arna Sigrún and Eygló. Rebekka from Rey and Ýr Þrastardóttir were not able to attend the opening. We are all happy and excited about our new shop!! It will be open from 11-18 on weekdays and 11-16 on saturdays. Every first saturday of the month we stay open until 18.
